Description
Parents with young children are invited to attend the Fall Parent Infant Series at Forest Bluff School. The Parent Infant Series provides an introduction to Montessori education to families with pregnant mothers and/or young children up to age three. Guided by Dr. Montessori’s work, as well as current research, Lynn Lillard Jessen, co-author of “Montessori from the Start,” Paula Preschlack, Head of School, and Margaret Kelley will offer lectures and practical sessions focusing on key aspects of Montessori theory, such as independence, motor skills, and language acquisition.
The next lecture in the Parent Infant Series, “Developing Focus: Activities at Home,” will take place on Thursday, October 2nd. The lecture will begin at 8:45 a.m. and will be followed by questions and discussion until 10:00 a.m.
