Apr 26    Woodlands Academy?s Congé: Fundraising for Financial Aid
Online bidding in April for silent auction items such as four VIP tickets to a Los Angeles taping of Conan O'Brien's TBS TV show is just one way of participating in the 41st annual Congé fundraiser, Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart?s largest campaign to support ongoing academic and student financial aid programs. Congé is derived from the French word for ?play date.? A Chicago Blackhawks hockey stick signed by members of the 2013-14 team, a jersey autographed by Starlin Castro of the Chicago Cubs and gifts cards from a variety of area dining establishments also are included among the many silent auction items available for online bidding from April 7-13 and again from April 23-26. For the latest up-to-date list of silent auction items, more information and to bid simply visit www.bidpal.net/Congé. Online bids during the second bidding period can be made as the silent auction takes place at the annual Congé event which begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Glen View Club, 100 Golf Road, Golf, IL. Dinner and the program, including a live auction with a paddle raise for scholarship funds, begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $200 each and can be purchased on the Bid Pal website. Donations may be made online as well. Partnership opportunities also are available as another way of supporting Woodlands? mission of educating young women in transformative ways. Major sponsors thus far include Geneva Advisors and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Ever since its founding, Woodlands Academy, an independent nonprofit college preparatory day and boarding school located in Lake Forest, has been committed to offering financial aid to qualified applicants who show evidence of need. These grants are used to offset tuition costs and do not require repayment. The money for these grants comes directly from the fundraiser and the school?s budget and demonstrates the commitment to having a socio-economically diverse population. Apr 29    THE VISION WORKSHOP
Presented by: Denise Hansard, Speaker, Trainer, Certified Transformational Life Coach

What are your passions?  Do you have a dream?  Have you ever really thought about it?  Wondering what’s next?  During this dynamic and fun workshop you will have an opportunity to define, design, and experience your dream – and receive the blueprint for turning your possibility into your reality.  Denise will cover the 3 keys to accelerating your results.  You will learn: essential keys for tuning into your purpose; simple strategies that will guard you from fear, doubt and worry; the one factor that causes people to lose steam and one critical thing you must give up in order to reach your dream.  Plus more…..

Denise Hansard has been described as a person who “has a passion for people, helping them to realize their potential.”  Her teaching techniques offer up a fun, inspiring methodology for helping individuals and groups to move past what mental blocks are in place (what is keeping them stuck) in order for their goals/dreams to be achieved.

For over 10 years, Denise has worked with organizations and individuals, helping them build their dreams, accelerate their results, and create richer, more fulfilling lives.

Denise Hansard started her career as a pricing expert helping multimillion dollar corporations to achieve revenue goals through the art and science of pricing.  She was instrumental in training & coaching executives, sales teams, and others in understanding the dynamics of pricing and the power it could bring during her 16+ years in the business.

As the years went by, it was beginning to weigh on Denise that she was missing something in her life … her dreams of helping and serving others was not being fulfilled.  The second time life created an opportunity for her, she made a DECISION.  Denise chose to follow her passion by becoming a Certified Life Coach specializing in DreamBuilding.
