DESCRIPTION:The Adult Mental Health First Aid is a national skills-based course for those who want to learn how to help a person who may be experiencing a mental health related crisis or substance-use issues. Topics covered include depression and mood disorders\, anxiety disorders\, trauma\, psychosis\, and substance sue disorders. This course is based on the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better. Must attend second session February 22 in order to become certified. 18+
