DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day-long celebration in the traditional holiday spirit brought to you by the Lake Bluff Downtown Merchants. The Village's charming downtown will come alive with the sights\, sounds and tastes of the season along with in-store promotions and gift ideas for all ages   so\, come on by and make a day of it with food\, fun and shopping!\n\n\n\nVisitors will also enjoy the festive storefront decorations\, seasonal banners with vintage photos designed by Lake Bluff resident Lynne Grenier throughout the downtown\, and the beautiful displays of lights\, bows and greenery provided for the 42nd year by the Lake Bluff Garden Club.\n\n\n\nHere's the schedule of events:\n\n \n\n9:30 to 11:30 a.m.          Ornament making\, hot chocolate and cookies at Baytree National Bank\n\n10 a.m. to 5 p.m.            Artists on the Bluff are giving away free glow lights to the first 500 people at the train station\n\n10 a.m. to 5 p.m.            Businesses open for holiday shopping\n\n10 a.m. to 5 p.m.            Wristwatch trunk show and raffles at Clockworks\n\n10 a.m. to noon              Story time with the Library Elf & craft fun at the Lake Bluff Library\n\n10 a.m. to 3 p.m.            Hot cider at Bluffington's\n\n11 a.m. to 2 p.m.            Horse-drawn carriage rides\n\nNoon to 3 p.m.               Ten-minute foot/chair "merry massages" at Lake Bluff Massage Therapy\n\nNoon to 3 p.m.               Visit with Santa at the Lake Bluff History Museum\n\n3 to 5 p.m.                      Live reindeer and their elves visit downtown LB\n\n2 to 4 p.m.                      Strolling carolers from Lake Forest High School\n\n4 to 5 p.m.                      The Buckthorns perform seasonal favorites at Inovasi\n\n5 p.m.                             Gazebo lighting celebration on the Green featuring singers from Lake Bluff Middle School
