DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Lake Bluff Library Book Drive is back just in time for spring cleaning! Bring your old books and textbooks* to the library's Spruth Room on Saturday\, May 16 between 10:00am and 4:00pm. The west side door will be open to take your donations. We'll have tax letters available if you'd like a record of your donation. Donated materials will be sent to Better World Books\, an online bookseller that donates a portion of each sale to high-impact literacy projects and the Lake Bluff Library. If you would like to volunteer during this event\, please email Linda Schwartz at lschwartz@atproperties.com or Amy vanGoethem at avangoethem@lakeblufflibrary.org.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Books and textbooks only\, please. We cannot accept encyclopedias or other reference materials. We cannot accept donations with mold\, mildew\, dirt\, water damage\, or other excessive damage.
