The Evening Jazz Ensembles offer a fantastic opportunity to experience high-quality jazz sessions with fellow musicians from all around the Chicago area. \n\n \n\n\n\nOur program is designed for students who want to continue their jazz studies but have daytime commitments like a summer job or summer school. With our evening sessions\, you can still learn amazing repertoire and prepare for concerts\, all while balancing your other activities. \n\n \n\n\n\n When?\n\nJune 24 - July 20\n\nRehearsals are on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 8:00 PM\n\nFinal concerts - July 20\n\nJr. Jazz Ensemble & Sinfonietta Orchestra concert at 1 PM at the MYAC Center.\n\nSr. Jazz Ensemble & Festival Orchestra concert at 2 PM at the MYAC Center.\n\n\n\n\n\nLevels:\n\nSummer evening jazz ensemble students range from beginners\, with respect to jazz and improvisation\, to more experienced students looking to improve their command of jazz language and musicality. Students will be divided into two levels based on their experience.
