DESCRIPTION:4th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition\n\n10:00am to 2:00pm\, weather permitting\n\nJoin us in front of the library for the 4th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition! Aspiring local artists\, equipped with chalk\, can create sidewalk art based on the theme\, "Discover the Galaxy at Your Library." Participants will have the opportunity to win several fun prizes.  \n\nRegistration: Registration will begin on Friday\, June 10 and close on Friday\, July 22 at 6:00pm. Further information about registration will be available on the library website on Friday\, June 10. You must register in advance to be guaranteed a space in the program. Walk-ons will be accepted as space permits on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nAward Presentation: We'll have lemonade and a light snack for all competition participants at 3:00pm in the Dahlmann Reading Garden in front of the library. Prize winners will be announced at this time. This year\, Congressman Bob Dold will be joining us as a special celebrity guest judge!\n\nBalloon Bonanza!\n\n1:30pm to 3:30pm\n\nBalloon artist Jason Kollum will be entertaining the crowds with amazing balloon sculptures on this exciting village holiday. Mr. Kollum will astound and amaze all ages with his entertaining and inventive balloon creations. You won't want to miss this! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Lake Bluff Library.
