SUMMARY:Parenting the Neurodivergent Child Workshop
DESCRIPTION:6 Week Series Workshop\n\nParenting a neurodivergent child comes with unique joys and challenges and no single "right way" to navigate the journey. This supportive workshop series creates a space where parents can learn\, reflect\, and connect while building practical strategies for family wellness.\n\nIn these sessions\, you will:\n\n\n	Explore what it means to understand your child's neurodivergence (autism\, ADHD\, learning differences\, sensory profiles).\n	Shift perspectives toward strengths-based approaches rather than deficit models.\n	Reflect on your child's uniqueness and your role in supporting their growth.\n	Share experiences through guided questions and parent reflections.\n	Learn practical tools for communication\, emotional regulation\, and stress management.\n	Build resilience for your family while nurturing relationships\, including siblings and partners.\n	Discover resources\, networks\, and community support because parenting truly takes a village.\n\n\nEach workshop includes opportunities for open discussion\, handouts\, and take-home materials so parents can continue learning beyond the group. Together\, we create a safe and non-judgmental environment where challenges can be shared\, victories celebrated\, and meaningful connections formed.\n\nFacilitator:\n\nLynn Langton\, JD\, MA\, is a dedicated leader in the field of trauma-informed practice. Known for her ability to bridge research and practice\, she brings analytical rigor\, compassion\, and vision to every role. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing justice\, improving service delivery\, and amplifying the voices of survivors and vulnerable populations.
