SUMMARY:Ragdale Presents Centro Social – A Music and Arts Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Ragdale\, the historic artists' residency in Lake Forest\, continues its  Ragdale Ring Performance Series on Wednesday\, July 10 with Centro Social\, a showcase of music\, visual culture\, contemporary art and entertainment.\n\n\n\nThe program finds the sweet spot where "underground cool meets the nightclub vibe." Guests are invited to arrive at 6pm for an open studio tour\, and chef-created tasting. The staged performance begins at 7pm and lasts 90 minutes.\n\n \n\nThis evening affair is part contemporary  art and  part social club rooted in deejay culture featuring: Sadie Woods  (DJ)\, Chris Paquette (Percussion)\, Josue Pellot (Installation Artist) Sam Lewis (Performance Art)\, Edra Soto (Visual Art)\, Sam Trump (Trumpet)\, and Edith Yokley (Electronic Violin).\n\n               \n\nGuests are encouraged to bring their family and friends\, a lawn chair\, or picnic to this outdoor performance which takes place in the 2019 Ragdale Ring.  This garden theater\, Shared Beds is an inventive constellation of three round discs designed by David Costanza and Piergianna Mazzocca\, who won Ragdale's international competition for outstanding\, young architects.  In the event of rain\, the performance will be moved to an indoor location.\n\n \n\nRagdale is located at 1230 N. Green Bay Road in Lake Forest.  Free off-site parking and shuttle service are available at the municipal lot in downtown Lake Forest\, on the west side of Oakwood Avenue\, just north of Deerpath Road. Drop-off at Ragdale is also possible.\n\n \n\nAdmission is $20/person\; $15 students and seniors\, 12 years and under free.
