Their attention to detail\, high energy\, and creative programming brought down the house in their past Rendezvous performances. Eleanor Bartsch and Francois Henkins on violin\, Ben Weber on viola\, and Jean Hatmaker on cello bring a new and exciting program for you to enjoy! The Quartet members are on the music faculty of Elmhurst University in suburban Chicago. Found Object Artist Millicent Kennedy Millicent Kennedy showcases their interdisciplinary masterpieces. Kennedy's art practice responds to found objects\, chosen places\, and the history embedded in the material. They make art out of abandoned tools\, fabrics\, and other pieces that we might think were no longer of value. Instead\, we have captivating artworks\, breathing new life and sharing their hidden histories with the public and new generations. Kennedy's art is a testament to beauty and stories that lie within the overlooked and forgotten.
