DESCRIPTION:You are warmly invited to attend a UK Education event on Monday 26th September 2016 in the Cressey Center for the Arts at Lake Forest Academy\, Lake Forest\, IL. This is a unique opportunity for students (and parents) who are considering studying their Bachelors degree in the UK to meet 4 of the top UK universities simultaneously. The 4 Russell Group Universities attending are as follows:   Durham University   The University of Southampton   The University of Warwick   University of York The main event will begin at 7:15pm\; however\, from 6:30pm   7:15pm we are offering an optional workshop for Grades 11 and 12\, from any school\, about writing a UCAS Personal Statement. The evening's activities will be structured as follows: 6:15pm: Start of guest arrival 6:30-7:15pm: UCAS Personal Statement workshop 7:15-7:35pm: Study in the UK: Discover how a UK Education will get you a step ahead 7:35-8pm: Presentations from the individual BEST of U universities 8-9pm: Mini college fair: An opportunity to chat with university representatives individually Who Can Attend? Any student interested in UK Higher Education is invited. The event has been scheduled in the evening so that parents/guardians also have the opportunity to attend. Please note - you do not have to be planning to attend one of the 4 attending Universities to attend\, the information will be relevant regardless of the UK universities you wish to apply to.
