DESCRIPTION:Illinois has the 3rd highest population of veterans in the country\, and now more than ever\, they need our help. The isolation\, risk\, and stress of the Covid-19 pandemic have created a greater need for the counseling\, companionship\, and support services for Lake County veterans and families. This year\, we will once again don our rucksacks and gear up for a March\, or it could be a walk\, run or even bike ride. The goal is for every participant to try to cover 22 kilometers\, independently\, or in small groups or teams practicing safe distancing\, and proper protection against this tiny\, very lethal enemy of a virus.
