Participants will engage in activities including: programming using Scratch\, constructing battery-operated cars a boat building competition with prizes. Studies showing that girls often lose interest in STEM during the middle school years are one of the reasons why Woodlands Academy invites area 6th\, 7th and 8th grade girls to participate in its Robotics & Engineering 101 workshops.
