Presented by: Sara McVey, Vice President and Experience Director for Mather LifeWays
How do you get the attention of that employer you want to work for, clients you must land, or the boss you want to impress? What does it take to join the ranks of the people who are able to get “buy in” for your plans, ideas, and ultimately ‘you’. Go from being a networker to a connector. Your brand and what you stand for is what success in business and in life is all about. Being CEO of the Brand You is hard work, but it's easier than you think.
Sara McVey is Vice President and Experience Director for Mather LifeWays, a 70 year old not for profit, who owns and operates senior living communities on the North Shore. Sara has played an essential leadership role since joining Mather LifeWays in 2003, where she served as Vice President of Marketing, resulting in a strong and unique brand and national recognition for innovations in marketing to older adults. She has more than 15 years of marketing experience, including Vice President of Account Services for The Food Group, a division of WPP, where she was responsible for obtaining new business and directing the marketing efforts for various Fortune 500 clients. Previously, she served as International Director of Sales and Marketing for The Carnegie Clubs in England and Scotland. Additionally, Sara was Assistant Vice President for Classic Residence by Hyatt, where she was responsible for managing its marketing and advertising efforts across the country.
