The League of Women Voters of Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area invites the public to attend its next state fiscal policy program, "Beyond the State Budget Impasse: Impacts and Next Steps" on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The forum will take place at Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest. Come hear Julie Morrison, Illinois State Senator for the 29th District, Sarah Wetmore, Vice President and Research Director of The Civic Federation, and attorney John Bouman, President of the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, discuss the new state budget and its impact. The program will be moderated by the Honorable Susan Garrett, Chair of the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform. The event is complimentary and open to the public.
