Historian Jim Gibbons presents the life of the man referred to as “Hizzoner,” Mayor Richard J. Daley – a man of vision, courage and dreams for the great city of Chicago. Born in Bridgeport on the South Side, the legendary mayor governed for 21 years until his death in 1976. To this day, people still remark, “This never would have happened when Richard J. Daley was alive.” Join Mr. Gibbons for a fascinating examination of the man behind the legend.
