This is a fundraiser for the WDC. Proceeds will support the conservation of the Siamese Crocodile (one of the world’s most critically endangered crocodiles) through the Cambodian Crocodile Conservation Program (CCCP), co-founded by Fauna & Flora International (FFI) – the Royal Government of Cambodia. Come and celebrate the world of Crocodiles! During the day we will have members from the Chicago Herpetological Society giving short talks about crocodiles that will also feature some of our living crocodilians that reside at the WDC. Jim Nesci and the world famous ‘Bubba’ the American Alligator will be on hand from 10a.m.-noon. Come see the skull of a 24-foot Saltwater Crocodile... the largest terrestrial predator on Earth! We will have a fun scavenger hunt to earn a cool patch, and, children story time for the young-ins. Don’t miss this! We are asking for a $5 donation at the door. More info will be available at www.wildlifediscoverycenter.org
