A series of three workshops will be presented this fall to introduce adults to the many aspects of Letterboxing. Letterboxing is an intriguing hobby combining the Internet, map reading skills, puzzle solving, orienteering, artistic ability, and rubber stamping with the fun of treasure hunting for hidden boxes placed in inconspicuous, scenic locations in the USA and around the world. The workshops will begin by covering the basics of the hobby and progress each month to include examples of different types of letterboxes, terminology, writing and accessing clues, hand carving your personal signature rubber stamp, examples of logbooks, and creating a letterbox to hide. No cost. Supplies will be provided. Workshops will be held on Friday, September 7 at 10:30am, Friday, October 12 at 1:00pm and Thursday, Novmber 1 at 7:00pm.
