Parent Child Session

The Parent Child Series at Forest Bluff School provides an introduction to Montessori Education for families with young children. Parents may bring children under 18 months of age to explore a prepared Montessori environment under the guidance of our experienced, AMI-trained Parent Child Director, Lynn Lillard Jessen. Guided by Dr. Montessori's work as well as current research, Lynn, co-author of Montessori from the Start, works one-on-one with each parent and child. She gives developmentally relevant advice, and attends to parent questions and concerns. In addition to these Practical Sessions, the Parent Child Series includes lectures on Montessori topics throughout the school year for parents of young children.
