Financial planning for Social Security can be confusing. Karl Lorenz will review the Social Security program, who is eligible, what factors to consider before starting benefits, when is the most appropriate time to start taking benefits, and ways in which you can potentially maximize your benefits. Mr. Lorenz is a Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch in Northbrook. He has been in the industry for over 24 years and in February 2018, he was honored by Forbes magazine as “Best-in-State Wealth Advisor.”
