Student Symposium

Description

Come meet our students and see our Foresters shine on Tuesday, April 7 as we explore the incredible research and collaboration between Lake Forest College students and faculty members. This is a unique opportunity to meet our Community Engagement student ambassadors and interact with our campus community.

Reserved parking for the Student Symposium will be available to community members at the Glen Rowan House at 500 N Sheridan Rd, Lake Forest.

OPTION A: First and second morning sessions (8:15-12 p.m.)

Grab a cup of coffee or tea and meet with one of our Community Engagement team members at the Glen Rowan House. A member of our ambassador team will then escort you and other community members to the first morning symposium session (9-10:20 a.m.) and identify the location of the second morning symposium session (10:40-12 p.m.).

OPTION B: Poster showcase and first afternoon session (11-2:30 p.m.)

Enjoy a light lunch and meet with a Community Engagement student ambassador at the Glen Rowan House from 11-12 p.m. before beginning your day. A member of our ambassador team will then escort you and other community members to the poster showcase (12-1 p.m.) and the first afternoon symposium session (1-2:20 p.m.).

OPTION C: Second afternoon session, art exhibit & reception, choir performance (2-5:30 p.m.)

Pick up an afternoon snack and meet with a Community Engagement student ambassador at the Glen Rowan House. A member of our ambassador team will then escort you and other community members to the second afternoon symposium session (2:40-4 p.m.), along with the art exhibit & social reception at Calvin Durand Hall (4:15 p.m.). You can also enjoy a special choir performance at Calvin Durand Hall at 4:30 p.m.
