The Midwest Young Artists Community Music and Fun Fest August 26

You are invited! The 5th Annual Midwest Young Artists (MYA) Family Music & Fun Fest will take place on August 26th from 12-5pm at 878 Lyster Road in the Town of Ft. Sheridan, Highwood. This event is free to attend and open to the public!
Since 2008, the MYA Fun Fest planning committee comprised of parents, volunteers, board members and staff have celebrated the concert season with a big, open community party featuring food, games, and live performances all day - from swingin’ Jazz combos to classical string chamber ensembles and massive 100+ piece orchestras. The festival draws over 1,000 attendees and will showcase: 
- Continuous live performances from a variety of student ensembles & genres
- Inflatable Activities for children and adults
- Fun carnival style games and prizes
- Extreme Karaoke
- Dunk Tank
- iPad2 raffle
- Local purveyors of food and drink for all tastes
- & so much more!
With plenty of tents and an air-conditioned main building, the August heat will not stop anyone from having a blast! The festival is also pet-friendly, so bring your dog, cat, cheetah or three toed sloth to join in the fun. MYA is a 501 c3 non-profit educational organization and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit socially responsible MYA programs, scholarships and its community outreach initiatives.
