Woodlands Academy Hosts Spring Open House

Prospective students and their parents are invited to join in an evening of panel discussions and a look into student life at Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart during an open house Tuesday, April 11, at 6 p.m. Participants will be able to meet the school’s esteemed faculty and hear first-hand from parents, students and alumnae about their transformative experiences as members of the Woodlands community. According to 2017 rankings by Niche, an independent research company, Woodlands Academy was again named the #1 best Catholic high school in Illinois. It’s also ranked the #9 best Catholic high school in America (highest in the Midwest but for one school in St. Louis, Mo.) and the #21 best all-girls high school in America (highest in the Midwest). The school promotes rigorous academics, artistic and athletic excellence, strong faith, and social responsibility. Located at 760 E. Westleigh Road in Lake Forest, Woodlands Academy is an independent, Catholic day and boarding, college-preparatory school for young women of all faiths grades nine through 12.
