Description
Are you a young musician with a love for jazz? Whether you're new to jazz and improvisation or already have some experience, MYAC's Chicago Jazz Workshop welcomes you!
What to Expect:Students will be placed in jazz combos of 5-8 members.
Focus on ensemble interaction, accompaniment, and improvisation through jazz standards.
Gain a better understanding of how to control and manipulate the musical environment.
Dates and Times:July 8 - 12, 2024
Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Final Concert: Friday, July 12 at 12:30 PM
Location:The beautiful and historic MYAC Center in Fort Sheridan

Who Can Join:Any student entering 6th grade or above as of Fall 2024
Advanced high school students and beginners are welcome
No audition required! All registrants are accepted.
