Description
Presented by: David Rubin, Owner, Suited To You Fine Men’s Clothing
David will focus on how to decide where to go, what you want to achieve, what to say, and how to engage in conversations. In addition he will discuss conversation starters, questions that lead to conversations, setting goals and having fun. This will be an interactive presentation and you will come away with concrete action steps to make your next “networking” encounter more productive!
Last month David focused on the “where to start” aspects of networking - helping candidates know how to more confidently walk into a room prepared. This month David will focus on networking with purpose – how to decide where to go, what you want to achieve, what to say, and how to engage in conversations.
He will cover:
- The four basic elements of “what you bring to the table” so that you may tailor your portion of the conversation to the other person’s questions or simply to get answers to your questions
- Conversation starters that get things moving in the right direction and “entering” an “open” conversation
- How to engage others with questions that require an answer – other than “yes/no” – which will usually lead to a conversation where both of you benefit
- Doing a little homework and preparing for the event
- Having fun – not necessarily in that order!
For more than a quarter century, David has been growing his business organically through networking and building professional relationships which have resulted in more business for all parties. His passion for clothing is evident as soon as you meet him and he is happy to share whatever it takes to help business professionals look, feel and perform their best.
