Promoting Problem Solving and Successful Social Interactions Gorton has partnered with Kick Start Pediatric Therapy Network to offer a 4 workshop virtual parenting series! Everyone wants a friend and sometimes it’s up to parents and teachers to help guide and foster successful friendships for children. Focusing on children ages 3-6 years, Esther Weisz (OT) and Erika Larson (DT) will review the developmental stages of social skills, provide strategies on how to best bring children together in play, as well as how to model empathy in relationships. They will also share their best ideas for hosting play dates that allow all children to participate and enjoy themselves!
