Pulitzer Prize–winning author Jonathan Eig discusses King: A Life, the first major biography of Martin Luther King Jr. in decades and the first to draw on declassified FBI files. Vivid and deeply researched, the book offers a powerful new portrait of the preacher and activist who transformed American race relations.
