Description
Egypt and Nubia are home to many pyramids built over a span of 2,000 years but three pyramids in particular on the Giza plateau have continued to hold the fascination of the world for centuries. Building these monuments required the recruitment and organization of large work forces and their support staff. This talk by Dr. Foy Scalf highlights the most recent research regarding pyramid construction and the impact it had on ancient Egyptian society. Dr. Foy Scalf is an Egyptologist and currently the Head of the Research Archives of the Oriental Institute of UC.
