Many job seekers are confused about how and if to work with recruiters. It is important to understand their role and how the process works in order to be successful. Learn the differences between the varying types of recruiters and search professionals and how to utilize them effectively. This session will help you to figure out where to start, who to reach out to, and how to network with recruiters as well as targeting the types of search firms that can showcase your background.
Steve DeCoster is Co-founder and Vice President of Rooney DeCoster. As a longtime member of the Human Capital industry, he started his career with the R.H. Donnelly Corporation excelling in sales and sales training, sales management, and corporate staffing. He holds a BA in Media Communications and English from St. Norbert College. He has held leadership positions with Human Resource Management Associations of Chicago (HRMAC), SHRM of Lake County, Illinois and Catholic Charities.
