Understanding how to effectively develop connections is the key to success. It’s not about asking for a job, it’s about talking with others about common interests and how you may be able to help each other. This is an opportunity to meet and connect with individuals from different industries and disciplines. Show up to this session and you may find new information and connections. Come with specifics on what you are looking for and leave with new leads to follow up on. Bring your inventive ideas, handbills, and business cards.
Michael Gallego is an Account Manager at SmithBucklin. Previously, he spent seven years in the nonprofit sector as a fundraising officer for both a small regional nonprofit and a large national nonprofit. He has a BA from the University of California at Davis and a MA from the University of Chicago.
