SAR’s (Situation, Action, Result) stories provide you with a way to showcase your unique talents. This interactive session offers you an opportunity to practice using these stories in response to specific interview questions. Gain fluency in responding to interview prompts, and highlighting the value you bring to the table.
While attending career workshops, Lisa noticed that she naturally spoke in SARs stories but that this was not a universal skill. She developed this workshop to share her expertise with fellow job hunters. While in sales at Procter & Gamble, Lisa was trained to use SARs stories to successfully sell her analyses and recommendations to grocers and wholesalers such as Kroger and Supervalu. She later trained sales reps and merchandisers in this sales technique. She further honed her communication and teaching skills as she regularly wrote grants and facilitated learning as Executive Director for a local nonprofit.
