North Shore Home, Health & Business Expo to Feature 80 Exhibitors, Free Living Smart Seminars and Health & Wellness Screenings, March 2-3
Lake Forest’s award-winning show, the North Shore Home, Health & Business Expo, will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3. Admission is free.
Held for the 18th year, the popular show will transform Lake Forest’s Deer Path School into a showcase of more than 80 booths of exhibits. Experts will be on hand to give advice on almost every aspect of restoration, landscaping, remodeling, interior decoration and accessorizing the home, as well as leisure activities, a variety of state-of-the-art products and services, and fitness.
One of the major components of the event will be exhibits relating to health, wellness and fitness-related activities for all ages. Rosalind Franklin University and Health System will have medical professionals on hand to provide information and health screenings, as will Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital and McLaughlin Chiropractic Clinic. Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group staff will answer questions and conduct free blood pressure tests. Additionally, a representative from the Northwestern Medicine Travel & Immunization Clinic will share insights and tips about how to travel internationally without getting sick.
Free “Living Smart Seminars” are scheduled throughout the weekend. The seminar schedule is as follows:
SATURDAY

Another highlight will be a drawing for a $1,000 shopping spree in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff courtesy of the event’s host, the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce.
The Expo’s generous sponsors are Northwestern Memorial Physicians’ Group, Rosalind Franklin University Health System, and Lake Forest Bank & Trust Company. Event partners include Home Digest Publications, McLaughlin Chiropractic Clinic and GazeboNews.
LOCATION: The show will be held at the conveniently located Deer Path School, 155 W. Deerpath Road, (1/2 mile east of the Route 41/Deerpath Road exit). The show entrance will be in the rear of the school (south side) off of the parking lot. The site is wheelchair accessible.
TRANSPORTATION: Attendees hoping to avoid the crowds can take advantage of the convenient shuttle bus from Lake Forest’s Historic Market Square. The bus service will run during show hours both days from the train station lot located ½ block north of Deerpath in downtown Lake Forest. Simply continue east on Deerpath past the home show site until you reach the Metra train tracks and adjacent lots. Parking is free of charge.
