Lake Forest and Lindenhurst Health & Fitness Centers are excited to announce our first ever Northwestern Medicine Health & Fitness Centers 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run. This special event on Sunday, October 4, 2015 will feature a run and walk through Middlefork Savanna Forest Preserve and ending at Elawa Farms, pre/post-race activities and entertainment for the entire family. We are committed to Northwestern Medicine?s mission of creating a destination for health and wellness, offering you and your family an exceptional experience and the highest quality care. We invite you to consider supporting this community wide event. With your support, we can provide Preventative Health Care Fitness Programs such as Spinning for Parkinson?s, Cardiac Rehab Phase IV and our cancer program, Survive Strong. A portion of the proceeds will help provide scholarships to those who are struggling with medical bills from these diseases.
