A Safe Place is pleased to invite you to a celebration of its new Lake Forest location. Thursday, June 28 from 1-4pm at the Gorton Community Center. Light refreshments will be served.
With ten locations around Lake County and recent expansions in Lake Forest, Highland Park, and Lake Zurich, A Safe Place is the leading advocate for eliminating domestic violence and human trafficking in northern Illinois. Services include a 24-hour help line, emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, crisis response, individual and group therapy, art therapy, legal advocacy, supervised family visitations and custody exchanges, intervention services for abusers to learn accountability for their actions, and education for teens and the community on healthy relationships.
