Description
For two weeks, the Passport to Education event will transform downtown Lake Bluff into a showcase of area students' projects, starting on Monday, March 5 and ending on Friday, March 16.
Twenty stores will participate in displaying elementary and high school student projects of all types—engaging films, delightful paintings and drawings, poetry, thoughtful essays, and intriguing science and technology projects.
In its second year, the Passport to Education event is sponsored by the Lake Bluff Downtown Merchants and the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce with the assistance of school districts 65 and 115.
To sweeten the deal, a handful of prizes are being offered by downtown merchants. Visitors are invited to pick up a “passport” at participating businesses, tour the stores to view the displays, have the passport stamped at each location, and then drop off their completed entries at the Lake Bluff Library. The drawing will be held on Monday, March 19th.
