Hallmark holiday? Not really: it's far, far older than you think—older even than St. Valentine. And who was he really? How did sending paper Valentines to loved ones catch on in so many places? These and other questions will be answered in this fun and informative presentation. Ellie Karlson has been making her own handmade Valentines since she was four years old. She brings not only extensive Valentine knowledge and lore but also a plethora of supplies. Please stay after the talk to make your own Valentine to take home or send.
