About Us
SaLT (Service and Learning Together) is an award-winning, 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer nonprofit dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders through meaningful service. Founded by veteran educators, SaLT empowers youth to lead initiatives addressing food insecurity, educational needs, and community well-being. Through Shop N’ Drop, Love2Learn, Take Care, and service-learning trips, students turn compassion into action while supporting families throughout Lake County, including Lake Forest and Lake Bluff.
YOUTH-DRIVEN. ADULT-SUPPORTED. COMMUNITY-FOCUSED.
